    Considering all the teasers it had been dropping, we sure had some pretty high expectations for today's ASUS CES announcement. The company had been hinting at a dual-boot Android/Windows tablet, and a later video sure seemed to imply we'd be seeing new smartphones in 4, 5, and 6-inch screen sizes. Now that's all been confirmed, as well as some surprises. The Transformer Book Duet is ASUS's new dual-boot, hybrid, all-sorts-of-convertible tablet.     Over the weekend we've seen press renders leaked of the ASUS PadFone Mini and we were expecting the company to unveil the smaller version of the PadFone Infinity (which we've seen at MWC 2013) today, as they just did. The principle is the same: a phone that docks into a tablet (a smaller one, this time, both for the phone, and for its docking slate). In terms of specs we're looking at a phone with a 4.3-inch screen with 540 x 960 resolution, and a tablet with a seven-inch display of 1280 x 800 resolution.     Asus is expected to unveil the Padfone Mini sometime next week, according to the latest reports, to complements its line-up of current and past models, consisting of the original Padfone, Padfone 2, and Padfone Infinity. The Padfone Mini is expected to have a smaller phone counterpart, at 4.3-inches, compared to the current five-incher on the Infinity. @evleaks has posted the press renders above and below for the Padfone Mini, and, if our eyes can judge sizes correctly, we're probably looking at a seven-inch-ish (up to eight) tablet counterpart in which the 4.3-inch phone docks.
