If it wasn’t enough that LG misstated the presence of minimum Gingerbread hardware specifications in a Facebook post earlier this week, it turns out that the other assertion to come from that incident, that Optimus One phones won’t get Android 2.3, is also false.
LG put up a public notice today that all the Optimus One-series hamdsets will definitely be getting their own Gingerbread updates in the future.
