There are fresh reports about some US Cellular upcoming phones. The Samsung ATIV Odyssey got a 7 in our quick review but that doesn't mean it's a bad device. Not at all! US Cellular obviously thinks the same and, according to the render leaked above, the phone will land on the carrier soon. For those who ignored the phone with the occasion of our inspection, here's a reminder of its specs: there's a four-inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card), five-megapixel camera, and Windows Phone 8. ...

Technically, the Mobile World Congress may finish-up tomorrow, but with all the big smartphone and tablet events over, we're calling it a wrap. We've had a great time the past several days bringing you news of all the new hardware and software companies came to the event to promote, and as we now begin to recuperate and get back to business as usual, we wanted to take a look back on MWC 2013 and everything it brought us. LG's new Optimus F series may be mid-range Androids, but with features like LTE support, they're a big more robust than the company's L series. We just showed you the Optimus F5, and now we look at its higher-end cousin, the Optimus F7. The F7 has a 4.7-inch 720p screen, dual-core 1.5GHz SoC, 2GB of RAM, and an eight-megapixel main camera; with specs like those, this would have been a top-tier Android just a year or so back. The smartphone runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and while the model we're looking at here appears destined for South Korea (what with its TV tuner and antenna), theF7 ...

LG really hadn't left us with any us with anything to be surprised by at the MWC this year; over the last couple weeks, we've heard it model-by-model reveal pretty much everything it was intending to show at the Mobile World Congress in advance. The F series were the last holdouts, but even they've gone official. Now LG is rounding everything all up and showing off its full new lineup. The F series includes the Optimus F3 and F5, both mid-rangers, but with some decent specs, especially for the F7. The L series II has three phones in it, the Optimus L3 II, L5 II, and L7 II; these are all ...

Then we move to Google Drive and cover all the recent enhancements that Google is offering. Ubuntu is next, there's a lot of great stuff here as it's reached developer preview stage, but not all is fun and games. We end today's show talking about the Petition to force the White House to address ...

Yesterday, we brought you some leaked renders of two of LG's many upcoming Androids, the Optimus F5 and Optimus F7 from the company's F series. At the time, all we had were those names and the pics, and were expecting to get the full story on the two phones as the Mobile World Congress got started. Like so many other of the handsets LG is planning to showcase at the event, it's gone ahead and gotten a head start, officially announcing the F5 and F7 today. If you're interested in a high-end Android, set your sights elsewhere – like on the Optimus G Pro – as these F series models are ...

Watch today's Pocketnow Daily as we talk about how the red HTC One mysteriously vanished from the HTC website. Then we go through some of the amazing benchmarks of the HTC One, though we'd wait for some real-world tests before we declare them as faster than anything out there. Samsung is next as new rumors have the company adopting the Snapdragon 600 for the Galaxy S IV. Then LG takes the stage as we have their new MWC teaser along with an Optimus F7 and F5 being rumored. We end today's show talking about the Asus MWC teaser, and what they could mean with their "Metallic Miracle". All this ...

When it comes to LG's smartphone lineup for the Mobile World Congress, the company isn't exactly holding its cards close to its chest. We've already heard LG announce phones like its new L-series models and the Optimus G Pro, and yesterday the company released an MWC trailer video (below) which touches on all the new Androids it plans to bring to Barcelona. Today, we get to take a look at a pair of those models, with press renders leaking for two F-series devices. On the left up there is what's reportedly the Optimus F7, and on the right the Optimus F5; while both keep their hardware ...
