During CES this year, Alcatel unveiled the One Touch Idol X+, destined for China and other non-US markets. US availability details were scarce at the time, pictures and other information sent in to Android Central have us thinking that a U.S. launch on AT&T could be imminent. For those of you who are just hearing about the phone (and we don't blame you), it features high-end specs such as a 2 GHz octa-core CPU, and a 1080p 5-inch display. Following up a surprisingly decent showing at the CES, Alcatel is back with new devices to share at the Mobile World Congress, bringing us models like the Firefox-OS-running One Touch Fire we just learned about. While that one was seriously low-end, Alcatel's smartphone lineup is anything but one-note, and models like that are balanced out by phones like the 1080p Android the company just revealed, its One Touch Idol X.
