You have to feel bad for Microsoft every so often when the NFL tries to use its Surface tablets to (but not for the direct purpose of) our amusement. But sometimes, you get a little kickback for all the embarrassments you've had to suffer. In this case, it's the NFL letting Microsoft go crazy with its team logomarks to deliver Surface Pro 4 Type Covers with all 32 teams getting some rep on top of a grey canvas. Microsoft has been good at chasing business with its Surface line of tablets. Airlines, police departments and other businesses have been well-equipped with the convertibles. The NFL struck a $400 million to replace all 32 of its teams' paper playbooks with Surface Pro 3 devices and they initially didn't go to good use, being placed under the clipboards and the old sheets of paper those tablets were supposed to replace. Some things in life should be exclusive, like the people who are allowed to drive my car or eventually date my daughter. Other things, however, should be open to the general public. Parks, roads, drinking fountains, and the front seats of busses come to mind.
