At the MWC last week, Nokia certainly delivered: in addition to the Nokia X we were all expecting, we also got those X+ and XL variants. But beyond this new Android project, we've also been tracking rumors about a number of Windows Phone handsets, and despite some of them having been hanging around for months, they were no-shows at MWC. Considering that the Lumia 630/635 are supposed to run Windows Phone 8.1, their absence wasn't entirely unsurprising, but we still found ourselves left with a new question: just when would this hardware go official? While it's far from confirmed, today we ...

It feels like the Nokia Lumia 630 (and its partner in crime, the 635) have been hanging over our head forever. The codename Moneypenny first leaked back in November, and a month later we had the phones' Lumia-series names. Multiple screenshots followed, and for a while that was it, up until the leak last week of the render you see above. As we wait for the handset to go public (and presumably, that will happen shortly after Microsoft formally introduces Windows Phone 8.1, if not simultaneously), we've got some new 630 leaks to check out, including some hardware specs. Unsurprisingly, this ...

Even though the rumors point to Nokia announcing a lot of devices at MWC, we can't lie to you about the fact that many of us were kind of worried about it. All the recent rumors point to the company launching low-to-mid range phones at the event, and most of these targeted at emerging markets, and not the United States. The good thing is we're still less than two weeks from the event, and more rumors start to give us some air. Tipster Nextleaks has just landed on some information that claims we'll also see a Lumia 930 at the event, as the company's next flagship successor to the Lumia 920, ...

Among the many Nokia devices we've heard rumored to be in production, we've had a few opportunities over the last several weeks to learn about this hardware codenamed Moneypenny. The story that's emerged paints Moneypenny as a pair of handsets, the Lumia 630 and Lumia 635, and besides being new additions to the Lumia mid-range lineup, the phones should also bring dual-SIM support – or at least, one of them might. One week ago today we had the chance to look at a leaked screenshot of the 630, and now we get to examine the other side of that coin, with the 635 seeing the publication of a ...

Last week we started picking up some new details about the Nokia phone codenamed Moneypenny, previously tipped to be one of the first models to ship running Windows Phone 8.1. The handset appeared to be designed with a dual-SIM option, and we heard that it may launch as the Lumia 630/635. Now there's a screenshot to go along with all those rumors, and it sure appears to confirm what we've been hearing. Based on the signal strength and call/SMS indicators, we sure seem to be looking at a situation where both SIMs will be able to be active simultaneously. We already know that Nokia has its ...

Last month we saw the leak of a number of codenames for upcoming Nokia hardware. In the weeks that have followed we've learned some more about a few of these models, including the one called Moneypenny. That included the theory that the phone could be among the first Windows Phone 8.1 devices from Nokia, as well as the idea that this might be a 4.5-inch device, available in both single and dual-SIM configurations. Today we hear how the phone(s) might actually launch, with the claim that Moneypenny will arrive as the Lumia 630 and 635. That's interesting, especially considering all that ...
