A while back, Jesper Jensen from Denmark wrote in to the Pocketnow Weekly Podcast with a question about antivirus software for Android, specifically, whether or not he needs it on his new Xperia Z3 Compact. I have just received my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact and I am infatuated with this little beauty. Coming from a Nokia Lumia 620 it is quite a leap ahead, though I do find I miss a few things about Windows phone. One of the things I didn't miss about Android is the ... more or less useful (apps that come pre-installed from Sony, such as) AVG antivirus. Under normal circumstances I would ...

Even though the rumors point to Nokia announcing a lot of devices at MWC, we can't lie to you about the fact that many of us were kind of worried about it. All the recent rumors point to the company launching low-to-mid range phones at the event, and most of these targeted at emerging markets, and not the United States. Microsoft kick-starts the smack-talk machine, which blows up in its face just as Nokia sells its own headquarters. The Lumia 822 gives us an excuse to launch a brand-new review format, while a Nexus 4 trade lets us take a post-review look at Google's latest smartphone. The iPhone 5S breaks its cover -maybe- while the Nexus 10 gives everyone a reason to care about big Android tablets - again, maybe. Rumors of a new 1080p device from LG get the speculation bonfire going again, but a cool bucketful of Google Play-colored cold water got us back on track. And, of course, it wouldn't be a ...

The Lumia 920 and the Lumia 820 (together with its US carrier variants) were Nokia's only Windows Phone 8 offerings up until a couple of moments ago when the Finnish phone maker -- who recently sold its Espoo HQ -- introduced the newest member of the family, the Lumia 620. It will pack a 3.8-inch TFT ClearBlack WVGA display at 480 x 800 resolution, 512MB of RAM, 8GB internal memory and microSD card support, five-megapixel main shooter, VGA front facer, 1 GHz ...
