Even though we are a few months out from its CES announcement at this point, you may still be interested in LG's Lifeband Touch fitness tracker. The time period between then and now has not done much to make the device bad, though -- it does everything you would expect out of a fitness tracker of its caliber at its price, and moreover, it works with more than just a select bunch of Samsung devices (I'm looking at you, Gear 2). In case you haven't been paying close attention, we have you covered. The Lifeband Touch features a 0.9" OLED touch-screen display with a resolution of 128x32, and ...

The LG G3 may be the company's next product that's got everyone's attention, and we just brought you the new official teaser video to keep your interest up as we approach the company's May 27 launch event, but that's not the only new hardware from LG we've been waiting for. And no, we're not talking about the G Watch, either; instead, we're turning back the clock to CES in January, when LG announced its Lifeband Touch fitness tracker. While the band may have gone official all the way back then, it's taken its sweet time in getting to market, and only today does LG reveal its retail plans ...

Although the "wearables" category is somewhat new to Pocketnow, devices that are meant to be worn, rather than carried, have been around for quite some time. In the very early days they were called pocket watches. Eventually they evolved into timekeepers that we wore around our wrists. Original versions just kept track of time, but other features were added in: day of the week, day of the month, and even moon phases eventually came to wrist watches. Some got barometers, stopwatches, countdown times, calculators, even simple calendars. When Microsoft released its SPOT technology, and began ...

Horrible sickness. Missed flights. Broken promises from major airlines. Desert air-induced hacking. A too-late arrival followed by a too-early departure. That's just a partial list of the challenges faced by the four-man three-man Pocketnow team at 2014's International CES in Vegas, easily one of the most difficult trade shows we've ever done. But while the road was rough, the payoff was (mostly) worth it: in exchange for our hardships, we were among the first to spend time with some of the world's newest and hottest mobile gadgetry, and we did the best we could to share it with you in a ...

LG is entering the ever-popular fitness tracking wearable market with the recently announced, wrist-mounted Lifeband Touch. With a expected battery life of two to five days, a touch-sensitive OLED display, and one-size-fits-all design, it certainly has enough allure to raise some eyebrows. The Lifeband Touch has a companion app which will be available on both Android and iOS, but it will also work with a bevy of third-party applications, as well. It tracks things like steps, workout time, heart rate, and calories burned. You can ignore calls with a simple gesture (though no answering is ...

LG is one of those companies that bring a whole boatload of products to CES. That's because the show's more general-purpose electronics focus allows the company to show off a whole lot more than just mobile tech: TVs, refrigerators, audio equipment, washers, and dryers – LG has it all. While that means that a fair bit of its CES keynote strayed a little away from the sort of products we tend to cover, we did get to check out a few treats, like that fitness tracker that leaked the other day. We had heard that LG could be working on a number of wearables, and sure enough, it's confirmed ...
