The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 should be the company's flagship SoC, and, while we don't know anything official about it, it's been in the headlines thanks to rumors, reports, and leaks. We expect it to be 35 percent faster than its 810 predecessor in terms of CPU performance, and bring a 40 percent improvement over the Snapdragon 810 in terms of graphics performance. Samsung has decided to ditch the Snapdragon 810 and go with its own Exynos 7420 inside the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge (most probably same chip, or 7422 version inside the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus). Whether ...

The week of September 7 -- with a possibility of September 9 -- is what the latest rumors talk about with regards to Apple's upcoming event. Of course, nothing's certain until we see press invites going out, and, until then, we have to rely on various reports and leaks, like this most recent iPhone 6s assembly leak in the form of a video. When it comes to the iPhone 6c, things aren't clear at all, with so many conflicting rumors hitting from all directions. Last we heard about the iPhone 6c was last week when a report claimed we won't see the phone until the second quarter of 2016 (after ...

Just a couple of days before seeing the most recent, extensive, picture-based Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus leak, we've heard weird reports of a future possible Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus keyboard cover, and, judging by the leaked image itself (as well as the source of the leak), we have little to no reason to doubt it. Furthermore, the reports don't just stop there, as now we're hearing about a possible price tag for the upcoming keyboard accessory. The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus keyboard is listed on a Dutch retailer's website at 48EUR (58.08EUR with tax), which roughly translates to ...

There are four more days until the August 13 event when Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus in New York. So far, these two devices were among the most heavily leaked once, but whether that's accidental, or on purpose, is anyone's guess. After taking several close looks at the Galaxy Note 5 over the course of the past few weeks, we are now treated with another set of images; this time we're most probably looking at final hardware, as the pictures are claimed to originate from a meeting where a company representative showed off the Galaxy Note 5, and S6 Edge ...

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 was probably the most controversial and disputed system-on-a-chip that the company has ever made, due mostly to reports of overheating issues, and throttling in order to contain the alleged problem (also reflected in revenue figures). That didn't stop many top-tier manufacturers from including it in their flagship smartphones (LG G Flex 2, HTC One M9, Sony Xperia Z3+, to name a few). The company is expected to share all the details of its upcoming Snapdragon 820 chip next week, but, until then, we are treated to some leaked slides that shed some early light on ...

The picture you see below, claimed to be "very raw material" drawing of the 2015 Nexus, has been leaked suggesting the back layout of the upcoming LG-made 2015 Nexus. It looks like a back cover to us, and we won't debate its veracity, but, instead remain skeptical. The leak suggests that there will be a camera, a flash, and something else, which could be a fingerprint scanner, or another camera. There were rumors that claimed the upcoming 2015 Nexus will feature a 3D camera, and we asked ourselves (and you) whether that would be a good idea or not. Some of us are intrigued by this, but we ...

It's official: Samsung is holding its Unpacked event on August 13, in New York, leaving the IFA announcement model. That won't put an end, though, to all the rumors and leaks; on the contrary, we're seeing more and more pop up, and we already have a feeling that we know every detail regarding the Galaxy Note 5. We sure hope that's not the case, but, after seeing live images of the upcoming phablet (not once, but twice), we now have an additional look at what's in store. The image above and the stills below claim to represent the upcoming Galaxy Note 5, and we think they do a pretty good ...

Update: after a closer inspection of the image below, we believe we are seeing a curvature on the bottom left side of the image (corresponding with the right edge of the phone (and the phone's case)), lending some credence to those rumors that claim the Galaxy Note 5 might have a curvature on the back, similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge's front. What do you think? We've already seen a real life picture of an alleged Galaxy Note 5 prototype (mule), and, more recently, we've seen stills purportedly showing a Galaxy Note 5 in its full glory, together with the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Today, we're ...

According to this report from Vietnam, yes, HTC is indeed working on an HTC One Max 2. Said HTC One Max 2 phablet would, according to the report, see the official light of day sometime after the HTC Aero unveiling (in October, claims the same report). The (first and) last time we've seen an HTC phablet was in 2013 with the One Max, when the Taiwanese company "tweaked" the One M7 flagship, reused its design, inflated to phablet size, slapped on a fingerprint scanner (on the back), tweaked the specs a bit, and revealed the product. In 2014, HTC skipped the One M8-based One Max 2, so, if this ...

In these images you can allegedly see a Moto G 2015 unboxed early. With all the recent leaks around the soon-to-become official smartphone, we have no reason to doubt the veracity of these stills. The phone has been heavily leaked, from pictures, to rumors, from its looks and Moto Maker options, down to its specs. You can find everything here, in our dedicated Moto G 2015 hub. The box shown, despite having its text in Portuguese (so probably either a European local version, or a Brazilian unit) features a black unit with a blue and green cover (Motorola Shells), and, as you can see in the ...

Every year Samsung releases its flagship (in the case of 2015, flagships, if you consider the S6 Edge a different phone, and not a variation of the Galaxy S6) smartphone, and, later during the year, introduces several versions, from Neo to dual-SIM variants, from Active to Mini flavors. The Galaxy S6 Active is already official, and, if you ever though that this year you won't see a Galaxy S6 Mini, well, you are wrong, if the leak we're looking at is accurate. The images above and below are claimed to represent the upcoming Galaxy S6 Mini. As you can see, it follows the design language ...

Speaking of the Galaxy Note 5 (which recently had its specs leaked by a benchmark result): if the leaked real life pictures we've seen are legit, then this render is definitely as close as it gets to the upcoming real deal. They come from the same CAD artist we learned to appreciate over the past couple of weeks, Ivo Marić, and they show off a black Galaxy Note 5. While this is a concept render, and, by no means, something official, it sure looks as it could very well be. The front definitely matches the live picture (we've done a side-by-side for you at the top). Below, you can see the ...

If all the leaks continue at this pace, Samsung will soon run out of things to announce at its August 12/13 unveiling of the Galaxy Note 5 (and possibly the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, and Gear A round smartwatch). We can't say we're complaining though: you can browse all the recent leaks, rumors, and reports here, but we'll have to mention the latest two, dealing with the non-self-ejecting S-Pen, and of course the alleged live pictures that leaked recently (one of them seen above). While we know to expect, thanks to previous leaks, a powerful Exynos 7422 SoC and 4GB of RAM (among other things, ...

What comes after the LG G Pad? The LG G Pad 2, of course. The LG G Pad was announced at the 2013 IFA, more or less two years ago, and the South Koreans circled back to the 8.3-inch tablet in May 2014, adding three more to the G Pad family, measuring 7-, 8-, and 10.1-inches in diagonal. It might skip the 2015 IFA, but the LG G Pad 2 is definitely coming, if this leak is to be believed. October is when the LG G Pad 2 should become official, and the report claims it will sport the same screen size of 8.3-inches, a somewhat lower, Full HD resolution (compared to WUXGA (1920 x 1200) on the G ...

The HTC Aero should be the company's upcoming smartphone, with Gorilla Glass 4 that's 2.5D, and a QHD display, if the rumors are true. The HTC Aero should also be the smartphone that would bring an improved camera -- something many have complained about on recent HTC phones -- but we have been amped so many times about HTC's upcoming phones that we'd like to play it safe now and remain skeptical. The HTC Aero will allegedly make its way to AT&T's line-up, according to a recent Evan Blass tweet. The tweet also calls the HTC Aero the "HTC Hima Aero"; Hima was also the name used to ...

...and the leaks continue, and we frankly don't see them stopping or slowing down, at least until August 12 (or August 13), when Samsung will allegedly hold its official announcement event for the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Today's leak comes from the UK where MobileFun published what are claimed to be real life pictures of the Galaxy Note 5 (above), and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. The Galaxy Note 5 in these alleged images looks like a design combo of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 4, which is not a bad thing. No, it doesn't seem to have a 2.5D, or curved screen, what you're seeing is ...

Update: People are saying that this is a fake render. Yes, that's a strong possibility, as with any leak which we can't verify, hence we always advise you to keep skeptical. As we're getting closer and closer to IFA 2015, manufacturers are slowly starting to tease their special events (except for Samsung, as the company is rumored to have a much earlier than IFA event for the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus). Huawei is one of the first to start teasing its IFA launch, and an Ascend Mate 8 might be on the table for the event, as last year it was the year for the Ascend Mate 7. According to ...

Just a short while ago we were treated to this 2015 Moto X leak -- revealing the front-facing flash for selfies, and containing a strange report on a purported fingerprint scanner, and its weird placing -- and now we're looking at its cheaper sibling, the 2015 Moto G (after a previous carrier leak detailing specs and waterproofing). We first heard about the 2015 Moto Maker with the occasion of a July 14 Evan Blass leak, and today's report seems to confirm what we've previously heard, and shed some light on additional details. There's no way in verifying whether we're looking at an ...

Update: A couple of pictures (renders) surfaced showing off what appears to be a gold/champagne and white color combination of the 2015 Moto X. Find it at the bottom! Motorola has a special event scheduled for July 28, and, while we know to expect an announcement, we don't really know how many phones there will be. The more optimistic claim we'll see the 2015 Moto X, 2015 Moto G, and a ruggedized version of the Moto X, while the skeptical believe that only the 2015 Moto G will see the light of day, judging by the low count of 2015 Moto X leaks. For the latter, we present you with a 2015 ...

There's been a lot of back and forth concerning the future existence, or lack thereof, of microSD card support on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Fueled by some reports that claimed Samsung will not offer microSD card support, these reports gained traction especially knowing that the current flagships, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge do not offer microSD card support either (why, that's a completely different story). Tablety.pl discovered the User Agent Profile for the upcoming phablets on Sprint's website, revealing some new information, as well as confirming ...

The "2016 flagship killer", the OnePlus 2, should become official on July 27, but we don't have to wait until then to find out more about the device, mostly thanks to the manufacturer itself who has been teasing some of the phone's upcoming features and specifications. However, we haven't yet seen the phone in its flesh and blood (silicon and plastic) until now. Chinese regulator TENAA has the OnePlus 2 leaked thanks to its records and filings. The images you see above and below represent the upcoming smartphone, from all angles. We can, thanks to these images, see the upcoming fingerprint ...

We only need to put up with 2015 Moto X and 2015 Moto G rumors, reports, and leaks, for about a week or so, as Motorola is holding a special event on July 28, where we will hopefully see both aforementioned phones, and maybe even a ruggedized version of the 2015 Moto X, dubbed the Moto X Sport. Until then, however, we take what we can get, and this report seems to unveil some 2015 Moto G specs. The information has been published on Spanish retailer FNAC's website, but still, we advise you to treat it with skepticism, despite matching some of the information from previous reports. We ...

It would make a lot of sense for Samsung to announce the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus in the same color options as the Galaxy S6 Edge, just as it would equally make sense for the South Koreans to unveil special color options to make the larger version stand out. It doesn't really matter now, as we're just speculating, upon seeing these alleged stills purportedly representing a gold Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus (or, sometimes referred to as the Galaxy S6+ Edge). The source of the report also published an alleged picture of the device revealing its specifications: Quad HD display (of yet unknown size, ...

While the leaks just keep on coming and coming, we haven't so far seen anything concerning the Galaxy Note 5 S-Pen. We've heard, however, some rumors (especially after seeing those recent cases leak, which revealed the bottom of the device with the flush S-Pen) that the Galaxy Note 5 S-Pen would either be somehow automatically ejected via a software command, or could very well be spring-loaded, and the user would have to push it in to release.
