Now that most of the phones from the first half are already official, the rumor mill could stop, if it weren't such a perpetuum mobile. And with the LG G4 being the most recent Android phone to see the light of day, we're now turning to a device which we've seen and heard rumored for a very long time: the iPad Pro (tentative name, describing the 12-inch iPad that might never see the light of day). The render (or blueprint) which you're seeing attached seems to return to the 12.9-inch rumor (yes, we also heard about 12.2-inches as well). The iPad Pro itself has been often referred to as the ...

After announcing the LG G3 flagship last year, the manufacturer has followed up with a smaller version of the device. There were several codenames rumored for the model, including G3s, G3 Compact, G3 Mini, and G3 Beat. Out of all these, despite having mostly the same outer aspect, the G3 Beat wasn't so small after all, and we've compared the G3 S with the G3 flagship at IFA 2014. If last year is of any indication, we should expect variations of some sort this year too, with the LG G4. Now, we do know that retailer listings and placeholders are often wrong, but we'll mention that a certain ...

Today (April 28) is the LG will unveil the G4, its 2015 flagship. You don't have to be an LG fan to be excited about the event; if you love Android, or mobile tech in general, you should be looking forward to seeing what the South Korean phone maker has in store for us. It also looks like you don't have to wait until the event to find out the internals of the phone, as the LG G4 specs have been tentatively leaked. Being slightly larger than the G3, the G4 measures 5.9 x 3 x 0.4 inches and 5.5 ounces, while also being slightly curved, like the G Flex 2. On the inside, you find a Qualcomm ...

One weekend separates us from the official unveiling of the LG G4, the company's 2015 flagship, replacing the well received LG G3 from 2014. Despite basically being an unannounced phone, there's a lot we know about the device (actually, there's a lot more we know than what we don't). This is thanks to, on one hand, LG teasing most of its features, and, on the other, thanks to leaks we've seen. Pricing, however, is still a mystery, but according to a recent report, the LG G4 will be priced just like the Samsung Galaxy S6 (which is already a darn expensive phone). Of course, as we've seen in ...

We've heard and seen a lot about the upcoming OPPO R7 (allegedly to be unveiled on May 20), including real life images as well as a video showing off the bezel-less design achieved with the help of a curved glass that conceals the edges with its reflections and refractions. We also know to expect a very thin design, a 4.7-inch Full HD screen, an octa-core MediaTek 64-bit MT6795 chipset, and a 20.7MP camera. However, for the first time, we're hearing about a possible fingerprint scanner that might be on-board as well. While you can't see it clearly in the renders above and below, it could ...

Even though the race for the thinnest smartphone continues at a rate we don't even find logical, that's not the only frontier that OEMs are trying to win lately. Oppo's R lineup has always been about pushing the limits of design, with the Oppo R5 succeeding at being the thinnest phone in the world for a short lived time. Some recent leaks show us that the Oppo R7 will shift its design focus a little into another area of interest, and we get more leaked photos today. These new leaked photos prove that the Oppo R7 is a gorgeous device in every way. Most of us find devices like the Moto 360 ...

Update: Meanwhile the images below have popped up on Mobile-Dad purportedly showing off the device which is expected to be even thinner than the R5's 4.8mm profile (and without the protruding camera), while maintaining a metal build. Image below. Remember the OPPO R7? It will, at one point (whenever it gets released), become the R5's follow-up, and one of its main features is the fact that is has a (nearly) bezel-less (on the sides) outer aspect. We looked at the OPPO R7 in some leaked images at the end of last month, but now we're being treated to a video showing off the phone. As it ...

We won't even bother reminding you all the information we know about the unannounced Sony Xperia Z4 -- thanks to leaks, rumors, and all -- but we'll bring yesterday's leaked render to your attention in case you missed it. We know so much about this phone that 1. we feel it's been out for some time or 2. it's already suspicious, just in case Sony's playing with us all. The render you see above looks to be legit (or a pretty good fake). Not only it matches the render we've seen leaked yesterday, but it's higher quality. We do have one objection though, which could make us cry "fake": the ...

We know a lot about the Huawei Ascend P8, despite the fact that it's not yet been made official. April 15 is when we expect to hear official wording about the device, but we've already heard rumors of its possible ceramic and glass build, as well as a tentative aluminum frame for the device. What we didn't know where its exact internals, but those are no longer a secret thanks to this Huawei Ascend P8 leak. A 5.2-inch screen is expected to be at the front of the Ascend P8 (Ascend P7 showed in the image above), with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. At the core of the smartphone ...

We all remember last year's (thankfully behind us) "selfie" trends (with their respective "groufie", etc. derivates), and, remembering that, we can't help but remember Sony's Xperia C3, the selfie-centric phone with the five-megapixel front-facer with LED flash. It looks like the Japanese manufacturer hasn't given up on the concept, as a follow-up, the Xperia C4, is in the works, judging by the latest chatter. We've seen a render leaked yesterday, showing off a fairly similar design with an oversized camera on the front, and today, we're looking at what's claimed to be a real-life picture ...

The Sony Xperia Z4 is not official yet, but it already feels like we've known this phone for so long (and we're not referring to the slight improvements from the Z1 to the Z2 to the Z3, etc.). With all the rumors and leaks that are becoming a daily source of chatter and headlines, we can't help but wonder when is it exactly that Sony decides to finally make the phone official. A Sony Xperia Z4 camera sample has been allegedly leaked. A resized version can be seen below, while the full size of the image is available at the source link. According to the EXIF data, the shot has been taken ...

Ready for your daily Sony Xperia Z4 report? Good, because the E6553 Sony model we've recently seen in leaked benchmarks has been allegedly leaked in this set of images you can see above and below. With the Xperia Z3 campaigns switching gears, one could become skeptical about the Z4, and its existence, but the phone should not be far out, with all these rumors, leaks, and reports we're seeing lately. Now, we can't be sure whether these images are really depicting the Xperia Z4, nor whether they're legit or not, but the display on the phone above does seem to indeed show off an E6553 model. ...

Update: The render at the very bottom has been leaked by @upleaks, and it shows off the back of the alleged phone, complete with the three color options that will purportedly be available (though the duotone build is not visible from this angle). We can also look at the DuoCamera setup, as well as the dual-tone LED flash. Promotional images for HTC's April 8 event have been leaked yesterday, showing off the phone tentatively called the One M9+, and some of its key features. While said promo materials didn't mention the device by its name, today's set of leaked renders and slides ...

HTC looks to be on the roll lately, with the announcement of the One E9+, One M8s, and the Taiwanese 64GB variant of the One M9. There's still at least one phone to look out for; it's been rumored, it's been leaked, and now more HTC One M9+ details arrive thanks to some leaked promotional materials. Tentatively leaked in yesterday's renders, the HTC One M9+ is also subject to an April 8 event in Beijing. Following the same visual style are today's three promotional slides leaked, showing off various aspects of the upcoming phone. They emphasize on the screen, build (materials as well as ...

After officially introducing the HTC One M9 -- make sure to check out our review in case you missed it -- at the 2015 MWC, the Taiwanese phone-maker followed up with a new phone announcement, introducing the HTC One E9+. However, the HTC One M9+ rumors don't seem to stop, after recently seeing what it is believed to be an official invite to an M9+ event. Now we're seeing to high-rez leaks leaked purportedly showing off the One M9+ (tentative name), an unannounced handset that takes the fingerprint scanner from the back of the One Max (M7 family), and puts is right were Samsung likes to ...

There are 27 days left for all of us to see what LG has in store for 2015. Whether it's the LG G4, the G4 Note, or whatever its name will be, we're pretty sure the event invites that went out were referring to a flagship device. And that leather stitching surely is interesting, but we might read too much into it. The images above and below belong to accessory maker Versus, and they're all protective cases for what it's claimed to be the upcoming G4. There are a lot of arguments pro and against LG going with a curved screen on the G4, but, regardless of what you tend to believe, LG can ...

After a short break, we are starting to hear more Sony Xperia Z4 rumors. Last time we looked at a Z4 report we've seen an alleged display panel leaked, and, according to the information contained within the report itself, we were looking at a 5.2-inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Now, some benchmark results for a phone (E6553) believed to be the upcoming Xperia Z4 debunks some of the things we are anticipating, while confirming others. Let's start with the screen: instead of the above mentioned/rumored 5.2-inch unit, the benchmark result lists a 5.1-inch display ...

We've seen an alleged LG G4 leaked with a curved display, and, while a curved G4 would make a lot of sense for some, we don't think that it might be feasible, with the G Flex 2 already out, and with great specs. Other reports claim that it might be similar to the G3 in some aspects, but the purported LG G4 leaked today seems to be a regular phone (meaning not curved screen and other bells and whistles). While the original leakster claims that there is a stylus on the back, top left corner, we can't really take this for granted as LG phones, at least in their initial, domestic versions, ...

When it comes to the unannounced Sony Xperia Z4, rumors are all over the place, just like in the case of any other phone that's about to get announced. However, in the particular case of the 2015 Sony flagship, previous rumors have tried to anticipate that there will be not one, but two different models, with slightly different internals, and screens (as far as resolution is concerned). We're not quite sure whether you should consider such rumors, but, adding to the recently (allegedly) leaked press images, are today's stills, where we're purportedly looking at the display unit of the Z4. ...

It was just yesterday that we've seen an alleged high-quality render of the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4, and, today, we're getting more press images of the yet unannounced device. It looks like these renders are part of the same set of computer-generated stills, and they show off more angles and details of the 2015 Sony flagship. We're now getting a good look at the entire front and back of the alleged device, but there is also a disclaimer attached, according to which these are neither final press renders nor they depict the final version of the hardware. Instead, these are claimed to be ...

When it comes to HTC, the upcoming One M9 -- branding recently confirmed -- takes all the headlines in terms of leaked looks, specs, etc., at least until March 1, when the device will become official. Whether it will have a 1080p sibling or the M9 itself will be 1080p is yet unknown, but a set of HTC One M8i specs have been leaked, bringing back last year's flagship to our attention. Upleaks mentions this particular M8 variant, the M8i, which would be exactly identical to the HTC One M8, with just a couple of changes. While measuring and weighing (probably looking too) identical to the M8, ...

We have a deja vu with this report, as there have been numerous in the past claiming the same thing, but this one's coming from Bloomberg (and its own sources), which gives it a little more credibility, while also lending credence to previous reports that implied the same thing. Bottom line: there will be two different Galaxy phones on March 1, out of which one will have a wrap-around screen. The information is still based on what "people with direct knowledge of the matter" say, and it also includes the fact that both the Galaxy S6, and its wrap-around display sibling, will have metal ...

The camera on the Samsung Galaxy S5 -- which is one of 16MP -- is already a step-up from the one on the Galaxy S4, at 13MP, but it will be likely outdone by the imaging system on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6. The phone which is expected to be unveiled on March 1 at Mobile World Congress will likely have a 20MP shooter, much like the rumored camera specifications for its main competitor, the HTC One M9. No, Samsung has not officially unveiled this information; it comes our way as a report from SamMobile quoting an unnamed source that claims to have access to a Galaxy S6 prototype. ...

As we're hearing more and more HTC One M9 details, more and more of the upcoming phone's different aspects get leaked, rumored, or predicted. If all the things we're hearing are true, then there will be little HTC can announce to surprise us. Luckily, if the past is of any indication, rumors for major devices are a hit or miss (there are exceptions to the rule though). The latest set of HTC One M9 details comes our way from LlabTooFeR (a ROM developer) on Twitter, and contains two separate bits of information, which, if both true, will make the M8 successor faster in terms of Wi-Fi ...

We're not entirely sure what we're looking at in this picture above. Whether it is the Samsung Galaxy S6 leaked (and an S Edge variant), or some Photoshop fun is anyone's guess at the moment. However, if we play along, we can see two phone models, which would play nicely with previous rumors of a Galaxy S6, and a sister-device with a double-curved display towards both sides, the S Edge. The phone on the left is believed, and looks like, the naked Galaxy S6, with what appears to be a protruding camera (most probably, like in the iPhone 6's case, because of a thin form factor and a thicker ...
