I remember the first time I came face to face with Mr. Blurrycam's work. I was sitting in my macroeconomics classroom on the computer, casually working on a project and checking one of my favorite tech sites at the time, CrackBerry. There it was, the BlackBerry Storm 9530, pictured in all its click-screen glory. I swooned. An all-touch BlackBerry? As much as I loved the BlackBerry keyboard, I was dying for more screen real estate – more room to play Spider Solitaire, read emails, or browse the Web. As nice as the physical keyboard was, I was willing to trade it for more display space, ...

The Samsung Galaxy F -- previously named (tentatively) Galaxy S5 Prime -- has recently paid the FCC a visit, and was subject to speculation in terms of the processor that will be at its core. A recently leaked image places the metallic Galaxy F next to the current Samsung flagship, the Galaxy S5. Before we dive into analyzing the stills, we'll tell you to keep a small dose of skepticism, as the veracity of these images can't be verified for now. That being said, the first thing that strikes us is the reduced bezels surrounding the screen. We can't judge from these images whether the bezels ...

The Sony Xperia Z2a will most probably see the light of day next month in Taiwan, according to reports, but there is still no information on whether we'll see a wider, maybe even global roll-out of the device. When compared spec-to-spec with the flagship Xperia Z2, the Xperia Z2a has a lot in common with its bigger brother, but, at the same time, it's also different in some aspects. What the Xperia Z2a and the Z2 have in common are the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, the 20.7MP camera with the Exmor RS sensor, and, of course, the water and ...

Acer smartphones are not too common in North America, as the company has told us, with several occasions -- at trade shows -- that it focuses mainly on Europe and Asia. However, that's about to change: according to a recent @evleaks report, AT&T is preparing to add an Acer smartphone to its line-up. We don't have a model name or number, nor any details regarding availability and pricing. What we do know, however, that the five-inch Acer phone will have a Full HD resolution, and will utilize an eight-megapixel sensor for its main shooter on the back. According to the report, the rest of ...

The first time we heard about the HTC One Remix, about two weeks ago, we knew it will eventually land on Verizon's line-up, but we didn't know exactly what the phone was. Now, according to @evleaks, we're getting answers, as the HTC One Remix will allegedly be Verizon's HTC One Mini 2. While the leaked press render below seems to conceal something (probably the time and date on Sense, which usually hints at the announcement date -- or some other sensitive data), we can definitely recognize the phone, this time, with the Verizon logo apparently replacing HTC's own branding at the bottom of ...

With smart watches being the next cool thing, it is just normal for OEMs to be a part of the game. It's no longer just Pebble, but other notable manufacturers, like Samsung, for instance, offer their takes on wearables. Apple is expected to bring a smartwatch, and we've also been hearing rumors of an HTC device that will be more than "just a gimmick"; sadly, it has missed the MWC show floor. According to recent reports, the Taiwanese manufacturer does indeed have a smartwatch, tentatively called the HTC One Wear. Late August/early September is what the report claims as a possible ...

The HTC One M8 Ace has been pretty present in the headlines lately, thanks to all the leaks, and we know we should expect the phone to arrive soon. However, Those who thought that last year's One, One Mini, and One Max line-up will happen again in 2014, in the same formation, might be wrong. According to the latest reports, alongside the One (M8) -- already out --, the One Mini 2 -- already out --, and the One M8 Ace -- coming soon, if the rumors are true -- we might see not one, but two more One-named phones. An HTC One M8 Plus, as well as an Advance version, have been tipped by a recent ...

New iPads and iPhones should be landing this year; some reports claim we'll see them earlier, some claim fall 2014 is the timeframe. Whichever the case, we're expecting to see the "best product pipeline" that Apple has had in a while, if the company's Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services is to be believed. Apple has been known to use superlatives not only in keynotes, but also un order to build the anticipation and buzz. Eddy Cue, while at the Code Conference, said that Apple has "got the best product pipeline that I’ve seen in my 25 years at Apple". We're pretty sure ...

The copper gold Samsung Galaxy S 5 for Verizon has been recently leaked, and, if you think the above phone(s) are just a rehash, the signal and carrier indicators should clear it all up (alongside the headline and the title of today's leak). We're looking at the gold Galaxy S5 for both AT&T and Sprint, as leaked by @evleaks. It's not necessarily about the differences (as there are really none -- inside or outside), but a confirmation of the copper gold Galaxy S5 coming to two more US carriers. When? There are no availability nor pricing details, so we'll have to wait for another leak ...

We've seen previous images of the "plastic" HTC 2014 flagship, and the phone depicted in those doesn't seem to resemble the device in today's leaked set of stills. You'll have to stay skeptical about these images, as neither they, nor the source, can be verified. That being said, the polycarbonate HTC M8 Ace seems to follow previous rumors and leaks, so we might be looking at something credible. Four color options are suggested (white, black, blue, and red); the phone is almost identical to the One (M8) flagship, sans the Duo Camera feature on the back. And, while talking about the camera, ...

We're just a couple of hours away from the official announcement of the LG G3, the company's 2014 flagship, but that doesn't stop the leaks. We've seen several aspects of the phone unofficially unveiled recently, and now, what you can see in the image above, is claimed to be (and we believe that it indeed is) the LG G3 retail box. (note the faux metallic look, emulating the back of the phone, as seen in previous leaks). Laser auto-focus is confirmed, as part of the new OIS camera on the LG G3, as per the leaked slides below testify. The mystery of the backplate is also uncovered, as the ...

There are no details concerning the Verizon Xperia Z2 Tablet, so we can't tell you exactly when it will land, and how much it will go for. What we do know, thanks to @evleaks, is that the slate is going to arrive, at one point, on Big Red's line-up. The tablet was announced at this year's MWC in Barcelona, alongside the Sony Xperia Z2, and the M2. US carriers didn't pick up the Xperia Z2 yet -- and if last year's Z1 is any indication, it might last a little longer until someone does -- but some retailers enable fans of the phone in North America to grab it. The story should be different ...

The LG G3 is not done being leaked left and right quite yet. Now that we are less than a week away from the official reveal, it is time for carrier versions of the device to start leaking out. Yesterday, we took a look at the T-Mobile version of the device in great depth. Today, the victim is a Verizon model of the G3. The device shows pretty much exactly what we'd expect. We have the G3 with what appears to be its stock wallpaper (we have seen that one multiple times), along with the same clock widget LG has even publicly shown. The carrier-specific branding comes in the notification bar, ...

According to the latest official info from Samsung, the copper gold Galaxy S 5 will be available, starting next Friday, on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and US Cellular. Some specifics were mentioned though with regards to the Verizon version of the device -- initially we though of exclusivity -- but it turned out that it was related to its availability (specifically through “select indirect retailers”). Today's leak shows us the copper gold Galaxy S 5 for Verizon in its entirety, front and back, as seen in the press render below. Other than the new (for the US) color, this ...

We're not sure whether the upcoming LG G3 is the most leaked phone of the year, but it's definitely in the top three. We have seen and heard a lot about the phone that's about to be unveiled next week, and the most recent of those is the possible pricing, as well as additional information (like LG G3 dimensions, and FCC certification). The G3, according to one report, could be 141.8mm tall, 73mm wide, and 9.3mm thick. Opposed to that, today's leaked image shows the device, in a case, with some different measurements, as you can see. 150mm tall, 78mm wide, and 13mm thick. That's somewhat ...
