LG did not make a big deal about its MWC presence this year: no "Unpacked" event, no grand unveiling - all the high-end stuff LG had to share it already announced weeks ago. But that's far from saying that the company didn't have anything worth showing off, and we keep learning about more and more LG handsets crawling out of the woodwork. Last year, LG brought quite a few new smartphones to the Mobile World Congress, but it just couldn't help itself from spoiling the surprise a couple weeks early, like we saw it do with the Optimus L Series II. The three models it introduced then were all pretty low on the hardware ladder, designed more for affordability than anything even approaching cutting-edge specs. This year LG's up to its old tricks, and outed a trio of new L-series phones yesterday. This time the numbering steps up a little, and instead of the L3, L5, and L7 we have the L40, L70, and L90.
