That was interesting all enough on its own, but the existence of a complete dump sure insinuated that there were a lot more Honami secrets out there, just waiting to be revealed. As it turns out, we didn't have to wait long at all, and a whole lot of additional data from that dump has now emerged. First up, we get some confirmation about phone hardware. A Sony Honami press render has been allegedly leaked. This is nothing new by itself, as we've seen previous purported press renders of the phone. However, they didn't quite match the alleged real-life pictures that surfaced on the interwebs recently. To put it simply, this phone, claimed to be the Honami, wasn't really looking like this render, also claimed to be of the Honami. However, today's press renders, reportedly grabbed from a leaked Honami system dump, are somewhat closer to the pictures we've seen. The Sony Honami is expected to land soon, at least according to rumors. We've recently seen an alleged press render of the device but today's leaked live pictures don't seem to match the leak. According to the source of these images the Sony Honami will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a 20-megapixel camera. The flash though, despite being an LED flash in the pictures, will be a xenon flash, according to the report. A dedicated camera shutter button seems to be present on the side and a down-firing speaker at the bottom. There's also a microSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack ...

Sony sure seems to be working on a good number of smartphones, including interesting-sounding models like the Togari phablet. We've also heard quite a bit about the so-called Honami, which could arrive with the "i1" designation. Honami's claim to fame sure looks like it's going to be the smartphone's camera, which beyond simply being high-res, is also supposed to employ a physically large sensor. Unfortunately, we've yet to get a good look at this rumored hardware, and that's not changing today. The image above is going around smartphone circles currently, and it is very much not a ...

A couple days back we got word about a pair of rumored Sony Androids in development, including the model codenamed Honami. With specs like a five-inch 1080p display, a twenty-megapixel camera, and the possibility of running a Snapdragon 800, it sure sounded like a high-end model worth paying attention to. Today we get a little more insight into that high-res camera, and while it won't be any PureView 808, it sounds like it could give the cameras on most of its competition a serious run for their money. The main camera could use an Exmor RS stacked sensor measuring in at an impressive 1/1.6 ...
