It looks like the sale of smartphones with locked bootloaders isn’t going away anytime soon, at least so long as the wishes of carriers continue to influence manufacturer decisions. Remember when Google said the Nexus One just wasn’t up to running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich? That was just shy of a month ago. Since then we’ve seen only an SDK port running on the Nexus One, but now we’ve got an AOSP Custom ROM for it, too!
