Google's launch of Android 4.4 KitKat is already 7 months old, and it isn't until now that we're seeing most OEMs update their smartphones to the latest and greatest version of the operating system. Such is the case of Samsung, which has done a decent job this year with updates, but not as good as OEMs like Sony and HTC.
