After the official website confirmed the name change not long ago T-Mobile finally made the Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G available. You can go to the carrier's online store by clicking on the source link and purchase one for $149.99 on a two-year contract, after a $50 mail-in rebate. To recap, the Galaxy S Relay 4G packs a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Super AMOLED screen with 720p resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor (as officially corrected by T-Mobile who wrongfully listed a Snapdragon S3 processor instead of an S4) with 1.5GHz dual cores, as well as ...

Now that the iPhone 5 fever (have you caught it?) is starting to die down a little, there's plenty of other smartphone news to check out. One of the more low-key Androids to be announced so far this month is Samsung's Galaxy S Relay 4G, a QWERTY slider for T-Mobile. The carrier formally confirmed the phone last week, but it turns out that one of its key specs was given incorrectly. We'd been following this guy for a while, starting back when it was known as the Galaxy S Blaze Q. With a 720p screen and 1.5GHz dual-core SoC, it sounded like a pretty decent mid-range device, especially if ...

The Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G, formerly known as the Galaxy S Blaze Q, saw a naming confirmation at the end of last month and now the carrier is announcing details for all those interested in this QWERTY-enabled Android phone. Sadly, these are not the kind of details we were waiting for. There is no specific date ("in the coming weeks") or price included with the press release. The phone packs a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor, 1GB of RAM, Super AMOLED screen, five-megapixel main shooter, 1.3-megapixel webcam,  five-row slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and runs on Android 4.0 ...

The story of the Galaxy S Relay 4G coming soon to T-Mobile is rather interesting: first there was a model number (SGH-T669), then we heard of the Galaxy S Blaze Q moniker and recently we've got wind of the fact that the entire device name will be changed to Galaxy S Relay 4G. Samsung's website now contains a couple of images of the phone, with the headline that mentions both T-Mobile as a carrier and the Galaxy S Relay 4G branding. Aside from front, side and back views with a couple of self explanatory information, we don't get much info on specs this time either. Until we hear official ...

It looks like some phone makers and/or carriers are really trying they're best to come up with "interesting" device names. We've been expecting the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q to launch yesterday, as a leaked document as well as a new press render implied, but that didn't happen (the Galaxy Note 10.1 would have probably stolen the show anyway). While the reason for not launching can be anyone's guess (or the rumors regarding August 15 were wrong in the first place), the name of the phone seems to have reportedly changed. We're no longer talking about the T-Mobile Samsung "Galaxy S Blaze Q"; ...
