What's going on with the Galaxy S 4's little brother, the GS4 Mini? We were hearing all about it last month, but then it kinda drifted off the radar. Now a new rumor suggests that Samsung could be delaying the phone slightly before launch, making us wait an extra two months to get our hands on it. The GS4 Mini was previously believed to be in preparations for a launch sometime during the week of May 20. That would let it follow right on the coattails of the full-sized GS4, which was in line with what we had heard about the launch. Now, however, a rumor claims that the GS4 Mini won't come ...

Some pretty convincing photographs showed up last week, apparently showing off the Samsung Galaxy S 4 Mini. We had already heard rumors that it might go up for sale around the same time as the GS4 proper, but it failed to show at the GS4 launch event. That's left us wondering what Samsung's plans might be for the phone, but a new Samsung piece in Bloomberg Businessweek sure has us thinking that plans are still a go for the Android. Mentioned quite casually near the end of a much longer piece on Samsung's rise to become a global smartphone leader, we're told, "[the Galaxy S 4 is] fast, has ...

Late last week, we got a good look at what appears to be the Samsung Galaxy S 4 Mini, cousin to the GS4 with a 4.3-inch qHD display. We only had a few specs at the time, including the mention of a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, though no word on precisely which chip would be featured. While we still don't have any sort of official word, there's one new theory that the GS4 Mini could introduce a new member of the Exynos 5 family. Earlier this month, evidence showed up for the existence of an Exynos 5210 chip. The dual-core chip on the Nexus 10 is the 5250, and the Exynos 5 Octa is the 5410. ...

Back when the Galaxy S 4 was still one big rumor, we started hearing about it in conjunction with the GS4 Mini. It sounded like there was a chance that both models would launch at the same time, which clearly hasn't happened. Could the Mini's debut still be in the cards for Samsung, coming up just around the corner? We were starting to have our doubts, but now a whole mess of pictures have surfaced, seemingly showing off the Galaxy S 4 Mini. Unlike the WVGA GS3 Mini, this new model would reportedly feature a qHD screen, while growing from 4 to 4.3 inches. It may have a 1.6GHz dual-core ...

Last October, a little over five months after Samsung first unveiled the powerhouse Galaxy S III, the company introduced the Galaxy S III Mini (above), calling it "a compact version of the flagship." Well, compact, certainly, but a worthy phone to hold the name "Galaxy S III?" You may remember that I had my doubts at the time about Samsung's choices when deciding on the GS3 Mini's hardware, including a dual-core 1GHz SoC that might have been better suited in a phone released a year prior. Now, as we start to inch-up on the expected Galaxy S IV launch, I'm thinking about Samsung's next ...

A couple days back, we told you about some new rumors that suggested the Galaxy S IV we're so excited about could arrive alongside some other models, all part of Samsung's larger "Project J." One of those was claimed to be the Project J Mini, and with the GS4 purported to be Project J's namesake device, it sounded a whole lot like this could be the Galaxy S IV Mini. Now some new rumors give us a little clearer picture of when that phone might actually make its retail debut. This rumor claims that Samsung has set a deadline for when Project J Mini's various cover accessories must be ready ...
