A little earlier this week we brought you our review of the new Galaxy Note 10.1 model, which so far has reigned as the largest member of the Note clan around. That's probably not going to last forever, thoguh, as we've been seeing a number of signs lately pointing to an even larger Galaxy Note tablet, a device that appears to be getting a 12.2-inch display. We've heard a little about the name and some possible model numbers, and later saw what appeared to be the same device get its Bluetooth certification and appear in some benchmark tests. Rumors about an extra-large Samsung tablet stretch back to the spring, when we first heard that the company might be working on a 12.2-inch goliath. Over the summer, evidence started piling up for this device with its high-res 2560 x 1600 display, and we spotted a few model numbers: SM-P900, SM-P901, and SM-P905. Then in early September, a possible image of the tablet appeared, supposedly carrying the name Galaxy Note 12.2. Different reports have different opinions on whether the South Korean gadget maker will introduce the rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 at IFA 2013, together with the Note III and the Galaxy Gear. The official invitation urged invitees to "take note" so it could definitely be a possibility. There are not many specifics known about the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2. Obviously it would pack a 12.2-inch screen, which is believed to be one of high-resolution.
