Most of the rumors that surround Apple lately have to do with the company's plans to build a wearable. We're still not sure that it'll be called the "iWatch," but we do know that the company has been hiring people from different sectors in health and fashion in order to build its first smartwatch. The sudden death of the Nike Fuelband has left a ton of very talented people available for such a task, and Apple is already taking action. The first Nike+ FuelBand came out all the way back in early 2012. With an iOS app, Apple users were free to interact with the fitness tracker while out on the go, but there was no equivalent Android app to be seen. Initially, Nike talked about making an Android version available sometime that summer, but nothing ever surfaced. Nike has shocked the world lately as it decided to ditch its FuelBand line-up, along with also killing its whole wearable division. We've seen tremendous growth in fitness trackers, and also in the concept of making your smartwatch help you track your fitness as well, so many are wondering why would Nike ever consider killing one of the products that started it all.
