We've been talking about the HTC Droid Incredible X (or might that be the HTC One X 5?) for weeks and weeks now, and although we've seen potential pics and heard about rumored release plans (that failed to pan out), we had still yet to get hard confirmation of the phone's existence. As we await official word from HTC or Verizon, some new specs have emerged, possibly giving us a more complete idea of what to expect from the phone's hardware. We've heard a few of those names rumored, and as we get closer to the time of year when we expect to hear news of just such a new Nexus, newer rumors are looking to just which handsets might make the Nexus cut. We were just talking about HTC's rumored 1080p five-inch Android and learned of a potential launch name for it, the Droid Incredible X. As we await some sort of official confirmation, not just of the handset's existence, but also of how it will come to market, we've got one new name to throw in the running, thanks to a supposed press render of the upcoming handsets referring to it as the HTC One X 5. This name actually sounds more in keeping with HTC's current naming strategy, especially if what we've been hearing about its Windows Phone 8 lineup is true. So, maybe we'd get a couple new ...

Everyone was wondering about HTC's phablet plans; surely the Taiwanese company can't leave Samsung alone in that market and the HTC6435 we've seen reported might be the one fans are waiting for. The 1080p screen on this device is expected to land also on Verizon's network but we're hearing more and more rumors trying to describe whatever HTC has up its sleeve. The phone is allegedly being referred to as the HTC Dix (believed to stand for Droid Incredible X) and, aside from the 1080p screen, it will sport a display around five inches, placing the pixel density sky-high at 440 (480 reported ...
