HTC's One series easily captures the lion's share of our attention, but those are far from the only Androids the manufacturer's been releasing. We took a look at the tiny, low-end Desire 200 a few weeks back, and today HTC announces that phone's more capable bigger sibling, the Desire 500. The 500 has a lot in common with the Desire 600, which launched all the way back in May. Both phones run quad-core Snapdragon 200 chips – not top-of-the-line, but a huge improvement over the Desire 200's single-core SoC.
