I know this is not the best time in the world to purchase an iPhone, but retailers make it tougher to keep the dollar bills still in the pocket as you wait. Following Sprint's recent strategy to drop the price on all their iPhone line-up, Walmart has now dropped the price of the 16GB iPhone 4S to just $148 after signing the typical two-year contract. This is probably not the best time to get an iPhone, since we're probably just a month or two away from Apple's next generation smartphone.
