I've tried being a minimalist … more than once. It just doesn't jive with my personality. I like to have all my things within reach at any time. I carry two smartphones – one Android and one iOS – for that very reason. I don't like to be without the things I need; therefore, I need a big bag with lots of organization to keep my daily carry from being a total disaster inside. This year, I've instilled a great deal of organization in my life and, thus, my bag. I've tried to cut down to the things I frequently need, not just the things I want to have near me.
