CyanogenMod is simply blowing up this fall. CyanogenMod has really been in the public eye lately, following its incorporation earlier this year. Just yesterday, we saw the official CyanogenMod Installer hit the Play Store, hoping to introduce new (and maybe less tech-savvy) users to the custom ROM, and we've also seen the launch of the Oppo N1, not just with official CM support, but also its own special CM edition available. We expect to see a lot more from Cyanogen Inc. over the coming months, and one new rumor out today suggests that includes plans for a full-on CyanogenMod phone. A couple months back, we first heard about the formation of Cyanogen Inc., taking the CyanogenMod custom ROM and trying to build a business out of it. We've already seen efforts like the Oppo N1, available in a special CM edition and easily capable of switching between that and the phone's ColorOS, but that's just part of what we've been looking forward to. When that September announce came, we also heard that work was pending on an official CyanogenMod installation app for Google Play, making it easier than ever for even ROM flashing novices to get in on the action.
