After announcing its new 4G BlackBerry line-up back at the beginning of August -- consisting of the Torch 9810, Bold 9900, and Torch 9860 -- AT&T has now unveiled the price and availability of the BlackBerry Bold 9900, Torch 9860 and the Curve 9360. All of the aforementioned phones run BlackBerry 7 OS and take advantage of AT&T's 4G HSPA+ network. The Bold 9900 will be available from November 6 for $199.99 with a two-year contract; the same date and conditions apply for the Torch 9860 which will set you back $99.99 with signed agreement while the Curve 9360 will be available for $29.99 on ...

White smartphones may not be to everyone's taste, but it's nice to at least have the option. We've talked before about some of the reasons we're fans, like a lessened tendency for fingerprints to show on their surfaces. Just a few weeks back, we caught a glimpse of a BlackBerry Bold 9900 tricked-out in white and wondered when we might see a chance to get our hands on the phone. Now the white 9900 has shown-up for pre-orders, and it's brought a few friends along with it. UK retailer Phones4u has updated its site with a handful of white BlackBerry models. Besides the Bold 9900, it's listing ...

Will RIM be releasing an alternate version of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 adorned in white? Back in July, while checking out an early 9900 that found its way onto eBay, we took a look at an aftermarket case for the phone in white. That gave us a sense of what to expect, but what we really wanted was some sort of confirmation from the manufacturer. We still don't have such assurances, but a new picture of a white 9900 has been recently disseminated; could official word be near? The image comes form a tech expo in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and it certainly looks a whole lot more legitimate ...

Remember that really-odd-looking BlackBerry that showed up late last week? Supposedly the Bold 9980, the phone followed the basic layout of the 9900, but adopted a harsh-looking metal exterior. We've since heard some new rumors that hope to nail down just what this model is, and also gotten a chance to see the phone on video. It's starting to look like this really is a legit BlackBerry, rather than some kind of counterfeit look-alike. Supposedly, it's got the code name Knight and may be a special edition phone released with Porsche branding. If that's to be the case, we can expect the 9980 ...

Of all the new RIM hardware that we've been seeing lately, the Bold 9790 – codename Bellagio - has been one of the most elusive. After seeing it in photographs back in May, it drifted off our radar for a while, only to reappear in late July in some new video clips. Now we have some new pics to check out, comparing the phone against the recently-released Bold 9900, as well as some information on the handset's hardware specs. Like previous models in the 9700 series, the 9790 offers a smaller-form-factor alternative to larger Bolds like the 9900. Not that we'd accuse the 9900 of being an ...

A series of images has been floating around today of what's purported to be the BlackBerry 9980, a cousin to the recently-released Bold 9900 and 9930. While there plenty of similarities, some radical design decisions leave us with a smartphone unlike any other BlackBerry we've come across before. Is it a prototype, a counterfeit device, an elaborate case mod, or something else altogether? Much of the phone's external hardware lines up with that of the 9900, suggesting they're based on the same components. The handset is apparently running BlackBerry OS 7, just like a 9900 should. ...

After a long awaited official confirmation, T-Mobile has finally spilled the beans on a Press Release where they launch the BlackBerry Bold 9900. It'll be available for exclusive pre-sale to all T-Mobile business customers, and as expected, nationwide on August 31st for the rest of us mortals. The new BlackBerry Bold 9900 intends to become a true mobile solution for business customers and consumers a like, but we're still having a hard time understanding that price tag. $299.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate card and a two year contract is steeper than all the other premium smartphone ...

Well, I guess the only sad news today is that we've managed to pull release dates for the BlackBerry Bold on all the major US carriers, except T-Mobile. As it stands, internal documents still show the device Coming Soon, but remember we've already gotten some credible information that points to a "Very late in August" release, meaning August 31st. Probably the either interesting, or weird part of this report is having the documentation mention that the device won't include Wi-Fi calling support through UMA or their Wi-Fi Hotspots at launch. Not sure as to why this will not be offered, or ...

Verizon announced its carriage of one of RIM's latest BlackBerry offerings, the Bold 9930. The CDMA version of the Bold 9900, we've been expecting the phone for both Verizon and Sprint. Last week we got a sneak peak at a render of Sprint's 9930, and now the carrier is detailing the smartphone's launch, along with that of the BlackBerry Torch 9850. Like Verizon's 9930, Sprint will offer the smartphone for about $250 on-contract. This confirms the leaked release info that we had seen, including the fact you'll be able to get your hands on the 9930 starting on August 21. The Bold is the ...

RIM has just launched their Flagship BlackBerry Bold 9930 to Verizon customers, and we know many diehard BlackBerry fans couldn't be happier. Whether this device actually saves RIM from oblivion or not is honestly irrelevant if you pair it with all the enhancements offered with this new Bold. Starting with the fact that this new Bold brings back the elegance of the first Bold 9000 we met years ago, it also is the slimmest BlackBerry ever made at just 0.41 inches. You'll get the typical front facing QWERTY Candy-bar design, along with a 2.8-inch VGA Touchscreen, a 1.2GHz Snapdragon ...

When we saw some leaked pricing info for T-Mobile's launch of the BlackBerry Bold 9900, we suffered from a bit of sticker shock at its nearly-$300 price tag. Since then, we've learned how some Canadian carriers have priced the smartphone, but with their three-year contracts, we've still been anxious to find another subsidized two-year price to see if that rumored T-Mobile price will be the norm. Some newly-leaked Sprint docs reveal the carrier's anticipated release dates and pricing for the Bold 9930 (the CDMA version of the 9900) and the Torch 9850, and luckily it looks like the Bold will ...

Among RIM's new BlackBerrys, the Bold 9900 is easily in the running for being the most desired; being the thinnest BlackBerry to date, we hardly have to wonder why. The 9900 officially hits Canada today, and we're expecting to see it on US carriers later this month. The States will also be seeing its CDMA twin, the Bold 9930, come to carriers like Verizon and Sprint. We've seen a picture of the Bold booting-up with Verizon's logo, and now we can check out what the 9930 will look like on Sprint, starring here in a nice, crisp render. There's nothing surprising about the Bold we're seeing ...

Research in Motion recently announced the new BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930, Torch 9850/9860 and Torch 9810 phones, all running BlackBerry OS 7 and the same day, AT&T announced the phones as part of its upcoming BlackBerry 4G line-up. Neither the official RIM nor the AT&T announcement indicated exact release dates for the phone but a Wireless Giant roadmap leak seems to hint dates on which these devices will land. AT&T officially announced that the 4G BlackBerry Bold 9900 and the 4G BlackBerry Torch 9860 will arrive later this year in AT&T's line-up. According to the image above, "later this ...

Earlier today, we took a look at when some of the upcoming round of BlackBerry OS 7-running BlackBerrys would be making it to Canada. There's been a lot of activity from the Canadian carriers in regards to these models, and while we don't have an official release date for any of them nailed-down, it looks like we could hope to see at least some arrive around August 15. Now there are reports of retailers starting to get their hands on some dummy models, helping to make the case that the release date may be nearly here. This picture taken at a Virgin Mobile location shows the BlackBerry Bold ...
