Well, that didn’t take long. Samsung globally launched the high-end Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones in four "standard" colors way back in March, then added pink gold (not rose gold) to the paint job selection just a month later, but only in Korea. Today, after an excruciating, seemingly hopeless waiting period, US-based fans of pretty, stylish yet somewhat tacky gadgets are finally treated to a happy ending to their miserable saga. Starting August 28, Best Buy and only Best Buy will be stocking the swankiest GS7 and S7 Edge flavors stateside, selling the two unlocked and fully ...

For its 50th anniversary, Best Buy on Friday kicked off a fitting 50 deals only supposed to last 50 hours. These covered a wide range of tech departments, from smartphones to smartwatches, tablets, laptops, HDTVs and so on, but in all honesty, they felt somewhat underwhelming on the whole, at least as far as mobile gadget enthusiasts are concerned. After digging a little deeper however, we’ve discovered one unprecedented bargain, though being marked as a “special anniversary deal” on BB’s official website suggests it could expire in mere minutes. On the bright side, it’s also ...

Amazon's logo might represent the things you can get ranging from A to Z, but in order to get some big benefits on one of the company's own products, you best be believing the "B". Both Best Buy and Bed Bath & Beyond (yep, seriously) are selling the Alexa-powered Amazon Echo and Tap speakers for $50 off. The Echo stands at $130 while the Tap is at $80 for the time being — though we don't know how long this time is. Amazon is still selling these smart speakers at full price. If you were tempted by B&H’s recent Nexus 6P + Garmin Vivofit 3 bundle deal, which by the way is no longer on the table, but only wanted Google and Huawei’s jumbo-sized phone, ideally at a lower price, you’re in luck today. Amazon and Best Buy take a cool $150 off the 5.7-incher’s list tag in 64GB configuration, with a US warranty included, and if you hurry, you may even be able to choose your favorite color. The former e-tailer has the silver flavor in stock, ready to ship as early as tomorrow, while the gold one requires an “extra 1-2 days to process.” BB promises the ...

Has the "buy one, get one free" offer run its wear? T-Mobile was said to have such a campaign planned for the Galaxy Note 7 as soon as it arrived at its stores. Fast forward to today and we have something that probably won't need a new line or upgrade to obtain. 9to5Mac is reporting from its two sources that Samsung is supplying its new Gear Fit 2 fitness smartwatch as free bundle promotions for Sprint and T-Mobile to carry out. Then again, multiple campaigns can simultaneously apply to a single device. If a smart step counter isn't in your taste, Sprint may offer a 256GB microSD card. ...

Can’t wait for the typical holiday season to make your favorite gadgets affordable enough for a sensible upgrade or two? Between Amazon’s recent Prime Day, various sweet eBay deals, frequent Newegg and B&H promos, and Best Buy’s latest blowout sale, it’s starting to feel like every day this summer is Black Friday. On that note, BB actually calls its today and tomorrow-only discount event Black Friday in July, which sounds about right, at least as far as the 9.7-inch Apple iPad Pro is concerned. The middle-sized iOS tablet goes for $125 off list in nearly all possible ...

The hunt is already on for the best Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid Edition deals available nationwide, as the two new Verizon-exclusive “SnapPhones” need all the help they can get to compete against the world’s first modular handheld and the ultimate jack of all trades. Enter Best Buy, which joins Big Red’s highly anticipated launch pre-order party with something much sweeter than 40 percent off “every other Mod.” There are several perks to be had at the third-party retailer, starting with a free JBL SoundBoost speaker attachment no matter your method of purchasing either ...

Missed the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pay just $404 on Amazon Prime Day for a brand-new 64GB Nexus 6P? Believe it or not, Best Buy can now hook you up with a deal that’s even sweeter… in a way. Granted, this is the 32GB variant of the Google and Huawei-co-manufactured 5.7-incher you’re looking at, and since there’s no external microSD storage expansion option, you’ll need to keep your digital hoarding in check. Also, the all-time low price of $319 is only good on the aluminium flavor, with the graphite setting you back an extra 55 bucks, and the matte gold a grand total of ...

Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, Newegg and, of course, ZTE’s own US e-store are finally accepting pre-orders for the self-described “first Android smartphone to break away from other flagships with specs that outperform rivals at an unbeatable price.” Said price is $400 after all, not $450, as previously believed, which is indeed pretty amazing for a 5.5-incher that “looks and feels premium at every angle”, supporting Google’s Daydream mobile VR platform off the bat (well, technically, starting in the fall), and packing the best internals currently available. Maybe not a Snapdragon ...

Normally, we’d not only be surprised to see a top-tier Android smartphone manufacturer mark down a flagship model mere weeks after its commercial debut. We’d also be psyched to get in on the unusual deal of a lifetime. The thing is, while opinions are split regarding the appeal and quality of the Xperia X and X Performance, everyone seems to agree the two 5-inchers started off at least slightly overpriced. Hence, the best case scenario is the non-Performance X now provides decent bang for your buck following a nationwide $50 reduction. By no means would we call the Snapdragon 650/3GB ...

Well, that didn’t take long. A mere 24 hours after putting its unlocked Android smartphone-cherishing fans stateside out of their misery, Samsung just kicked off the very first SM-G930U deal. Technically, Best Buy did, but probably not without the device manufacturer’s explicit blessing, so be sure to thank them both in your prayers before going to sleep tonight. First things first, you don’t want to hesitate, or put off an acquisition here, as the US unlocked Galaxy S7 feels like a bargain all of a sudden. It still requires you cough up a hefty $670 upfront, but a nice $75 portion ...

After losing the own-brand low-cost domestic battle to Xiaomi and Huawei, Lenovo is more than keen to keep Motorola phones at the forefront of the sub-$250 US scene at the very least, baking pretty robust specs into the Moto G4 and G4 Plus. Even better, the two respectable mid-rangers are offered at a cool discount right off the bat stateside, although technically, you have a pair of third-party retailers to thank for the limited-time promo. Both Best Buy and B&H Photo Video will throw in complimentary $50 gift cards with Moto G4 and G4 Plus pre-orders, no matter your color of choice ...

After taking the Moto X Pure Edition to the unlocked market last year, Motorola has decided to open up the fourth-generation Moto G to not just the United States' GSM networks, but to its CDMA ones, too. The Moto G⁴ and Moto G⁴ Plus are both up for pre-orders right now at the Motorola site. Both phones can be customized in Moto Maker and financed through Motorola. As a refresher, the Moto G⁴ has a 5.5-inch, full HD screen in front of a Snapdragon 617 with 2GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel main camera. This one's starting at $199.99 for 16GB of storage. $249.99 for the Moto G⁴ Plus ...

It's been a few months since Huawei subsidiary Honor planted its retail foot in the United States. It did so with the Honor 5X, this year's strike in the mid-range sector. But as with all Chinese brands struggling to gain recognition in this country, it'll need major retail trade winds at its head. Enter Best Buy as it has decided to pick up the Honor 5X for sale at 590 of its stores starting June 19 and online right now. It still comes in gray, silver and gold, it's still $199.99 and it still comes unlocked. We're nowhere talking about the Honor V8 or the Honor 8 coming stateside, but you ...

It’s clearly a matter of perspective if you deem the Apple Watch a blockbuster or lemon, but it’s hard to contest the wearable’s popularity surge on the heels of nationwide discounts. Unfortunately, most of the recent deals have involved entry-level Sport variants or mid-range stainless steel configurations with chintzy Sport bands, making it difficult to buy a truly premium iOS-compatible smartwatch at a fair price. Luckily, Best Buy seemingly got the memo about the budget needs of even Cupertino’s more exigent target audience, selling elegant 38mm “iWatch” models with saddle ...

Huawei is making a Nexus phone this year that will, in almost all certainty, best its Nexus 6P in the numbers that matter. But the number that matters right now is this one: $80. Best Buy, B&H and Newegg all have sales on the Nexus 6P for you to consider. The 32GB and 64GB at all outlets are getting $80 discounts down to just below $420 and $470 respectively. Best Buy and B&H is also taking $80 off the 128GB version down to $570 while Newegg has a $50 discount, putting it at $599. B&H is bundling $50 store credit and two screen protectors for the phone. Newegg is also offering ...

ZTE is clearly moving up through the Android OEM ranks, not just in its homeland, but stateside and in international markets like Germany, Russia and Mexico also. The Chinese device manufacturer seeks global fame in the high-end segment, as well as the low-cost, entry-level scene, with a diversified product portfolio including Axon, Nubia, Blade and Zmax families, among others. Of course, you can’t really call a phone like the Zmax 2 entry-level, although it’s super-low-cost right now, setting you back a measly 60 bucks at Best Buy. Originally launched at $150, the 5.5-incher still ...

Is Memorial Day the new Black Friday? Hopefully not, as we don’t need another occasion for frantic bargain hunters to literally fight to the death for TVs, phones and home appliances they generally already own. Still, it’s sure nice to see HTC, Microsoft and now Best Buy in a giving mood until Monday, May 30, with the latter retailer arguably stealing the other two’s thunder by shaving a cool $200 off a trio of Apple Watches. And no, we’re not talking entry-level Apple Watch Sport configurations for a change, but rather more robust, better-looking and typically, much pricier ...

Another day, another irresistible Samsung Galaxy S7 deal… or two. Best Buy isn’t content just catering to bargain hunters willing to sign up to a Verizon, AT&T or Sprint contract, lease or device installment plan, also upping the discount ante today for folks looking to get payment out of the way right off the bat. Why commit to a single carrier for a couple of years, and torment yourself with monthly fees when you can cough up as little as $450 upfront, and be free to switch networks at will, or resell your phone sans worrying about upgrade eligibility? The catch here is 450 bucks ...

While the Android flagship specs battle is a pretty close one between the Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5, and design remains a subjective matter, the winner of this H1 2016 clash of the titans may have been decided by bundle deals and discounts. Granted, LG tried its best to lock horns with Samsung in the promotion department as well, but ultimately couldn’t match the marketing strength of its mighty opponent. The opponent, of course, appears to have the precious support of many leading US retailers and carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Costco, and Best Buy. Best Buy just ...

With Mother’s Day literally around the corner now, and T-Mobile the only major electronics retailer eager to close a few mutually beneficial deals, it might feel like you’re running out of time to find that perfect, hip, affordable gift. But Best Buy comes to the rescue of at least Apple devotees in the eleventh hour, rebooting its already customary “iWatch” discounts, as well as marking down all iPad mini 4 configurations by a cool $100. The 7.9-incher launched last fall as essentially an iPad Air 2 in a more compact body starts at $300 after the rebates, with 64GB storage ...

Despite arriving to the Android Wear party a little late, and boldly going for Apple Watch’s jugular with similarly extravagant pricing, the Huawei Watch didn’t take long to develop a cult following of sorts. Still, many prospective buyers held off waiting for discounts and bundle deals, which have become rather frequent recently. Amazon, Best Buy and Newegg are currently selling a number of 42mm configurations at probably their lowest tags yet, with stainless steel frames and various finishes, colors and band types. Of course, the black suture leather strapped model remains the most ...

If a 44mm smartwatch makes sense for your wrist, you may interested in either Huawei Watch for Women — one is encrusted with Swarovski zirconia and named "Jewel" while the plainer one is named "Elegant." Google's still not selling them, but Best Buy, Newegg and B&H are to varying extents. With Best Buy, it only has an entry for the "Jewel" on its site, though it looks more like the Elegant — the picture and the price of $449.99 are the tells. Orders will get ...
