Last night, the Zune service went through some maintenance and an update of the Zune desktop software was required to connect today. iStartedSomething.com has discovered some new driver entries for three “Phone” hardware IDs. Some speculate that these represent Microsoft branded Zune Phones, perhaps built by the team aquired during the Danger aquisition. However, they could also simply represent 3 new Windows Mobile phones that happen to include Zune syncing support.
