Windows Phone Live Announced

Microsoft just announced the Windows Phone Live service that will be available for Windows Phone 7 devices. This Live service is basically an upgraded version of Microsoft’s existing MyPhone service but now integrates with Windows Live Skydrive. The premium MyPhone services such as device location and remote wipe will be free now where as they used to be a pay-per-use feature (in case you lost your phone way too often.) It sounds like you’ll eventually also get file syncing with Skydrive, which is much-needed since Windows Phone 7 doesn’t give you file system access. A Skydrive syncing solution should satisify your needs for being able to access files from both your desktop and mobile device. Initially, it will only sync OneNote files.

UPDATE:

Notdetected

If you visit windowsphone.live.com, you’ll get an error message that a Windows Phone 7 is not detected.
