You've seen the video of Windows Mobile 6.5 on HTC's Touch HD this weekend, and things are heating up for Mobile World Congress. Neowin is reporting that Microsoft's next generation operating system--no, not Windows Mobile 7.0 but rather 6.5--has been ported to the XPERIA X1 by a forum member of XDA-Developers.

Since the XPERIA and Touch HD utilizes the sam WVGA resolution, the port is rather expected. You can check out the full screen shots from Neowin.
