Windows 7 Automatically Installs Sync Software

Next week, the Windows 7 Release Candidate is going to be released to the public, while this week the private beta testers have gotten their hands on it. You’ll be happy to hear that Windows 7 makes it a bit easier to set up and sync your Windows Mobile device.

All you have to do is plug your Windows Phone into a Windows 7 computer with a USB cable and Windows 7 will automatically detect it, then download the proper drivers as well as Windows Mobile Device Center. WMDC will then automatically launch and it will ask you if you want to set up your device for syncing.

It doesn’t get much easier than that!
