If you are a heavy Twitter user, you might find this interesting. Tweets Near Me is a small and free application that shows you who is tweeting and what near your location.

The application can be used on devices without GPS too since it can approximately locate you by the cell tower data your Device is connected to. You can configure to show tweets in a radius distance from you as well as based on custom searches. Since it’s a real time display of tweets, it doens’t need connection to your Twitter account and you don’t need to be logged in to Twitter to use it.
