What's New in the Windows Mobile 6.5 Upgrades on T-Mobile

Here's a quick video about what's new in the Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM upgrades for the T-Mobile Dash 3G and Touch Pro2. Of special note is new support for Visual Voicemail on T-Mobile. The Dash 3G doesn't get much new besides an upgraded Internet Explorer, MarketPlace, MyPhone, Facebook, and widget support. The Touch Pro2 gets a new HTC Sense UI with automatic location detection for weather, but not the animated backgrounds from HTC's 6.5 upgrade to the Touch Pro2. Also, I'm happy to report that the Touch Pro2's Voice Command over Bluetooth support has been improved. It now will route Voice Command notifications through Bluetooth if you have that option turned on where as previously, the respective setting did nothing due to the non-standard Bluetooth software included. Personally, I've shut off the Sense UI since it seems to take up about 10% more RAM than the previous TouchFLO 3D 2.1. The blue theme in HTC's Sense UI is still there despite it's obvious design issues with a brown phone, and the clashing colors have been worsened by T-Mobile's purple Today screen theme that shows up in the Start menu.
