VsNotepad is a useful alternative to the stock Windows Mobile notepad. The program allows users to jot down notes with a modern, simple and complete interface. Take notes on-the-fly and set them to alert at a certain date and time. The application has drawing tools that can shade and lighten, trace, spray paint, and create various geometric shapes all with the ability to select any color in the palette.

The startup page has implemented a clock to help save time by not having to return to the today screen. Switch between pages quickly without having to reload a new note. Add many pages to form various books for easy organizing. Each page in the book can be saved as a JPEG image which may be emailed, sent through MMS, or beamed. The integrated multifunction calculator will save time by not having to close the current note. The developers state that the new version is two times faster than the previous. VsNotepad will work on any touch screen Windows Mobile device. There is a trial version available and the full version is $19.95 USD.
