Well, if you’ve heard by now, the newest Windows Mobile 6 Standard Palm Treo, the 500v, has been made official on the Vodafone network.
Arne Hess from the::unwired got some hands-on time with the new device. Apparently it’s got a custom Home screen layout that is activated when you press the Start button (which acts as a replacement for the standard Start menu found on Smartphones).
What’s unique about the menu system is that it changes based on device activity. For example, if you have an SMS, the SMS menu option will be one of the first items to select in the menu, ditto with missed calls and new emails.
