Verizon HP Mini Netbook Software Tour

In this video, we talk about the performance of Verizon netbook in terms of overall system speed and just how fast the integrated Verizon EVDO connection can go (which happens to be up to a pretty astonishing 1.9Mbps down).

We also talk about the battery life of the netbook, which appears to be around 2.5 hours with no wireless data being used, 2 hours with WiFi, and 1.5 hours with the EVDO connection. There is an extended battery option available for the HP Mini, but it adds $130 to the price which is probably not worth it for a $199 netbook.

Overall, Verizon chose a great netbook to use with their network, and the implementation of EVDO is quite smooth, though we wish that connecting was faster.
