From XDA Developers comes Tom Text Messaging, a tiny application that can be used to configure various Text Messaging settings and which successfully follows HTC’s TouchFLO 3D style on QVGA, VGA and WVGA resolutions.

No installation needed, just download the exe anywhere on your Device and run it (you can then create shortcuts to your convenience). With Tom Text Messaging you can set: Classic or Threaded SMS layout, enable or disable Unicode Support, Save Sent SMS, Show Date and Time, Show Reply All Email, set Body Indend, enable Notifications for Sent and Received SMS and wake up device on SMS Events.
