Touch FLO 3D’s Slight Redesign

I just upgraded my Touch Diamond to the now shipping version 1.37 ROM, and there’s a definite difference in the timing of the animations in TouchFLO 3D.

As I mentioned in this post and my review, the animations were pretty slow by design. I recommended that reducing the timing on the animations would increase the perception of speed, and that’s exactly what they did.

You’ll also notice that when swiping a finger horizontally across a panel, both the bottom icon and background image will move instantly. Previously the bottom icon moved first and then the rest of the panel moved after that (thus giving you a perception of lag.) The panels can now also be flicked repeatedly without having to wait for the animation on one to finish.
