TMOUS HD2 ROM to Possibly Fix Overexposed Photos

Anton D. Nagy | February 28, 2010 8:57 AM

Almost all HD2 users have been complaining about overexposed pictures taken with their devices in relatively dark environments requiring flash to be fired. Pictures came out white, ghosty and overexposed.

T-Mobile’s HD2 ROM seems to fix this, normal behaviour being reported by users running custom ROMs built on TMOUS HD2 ROM (2.09). Whether it is a Camera App version update that’s new or some other software calibrations to the camera we so far don’t know but hope either HTC will release a fix for the rest of the models or XDA Developers manage to extract and port the Camera App.
