ThumbCal, a popular calendar app for Windows Mobile, has recently been updated to version 1.4. It’s been almost a year since the last version was released, so the update comes as a (pleasant) surprise. ThumbCal is still used by many, especially those who don’t use HTC Sense, because it gives users advanced options in a clean and finger-friendly package. In fact, I use it for managing tasks and appointments regardless of what UI I’m running.

ThumbCal is available for Windows Mobile 6.x devices and supports most resolutions. Check out the changes and general features below. Take the 14-day trial for a spin or purchase the registered version from ThumbApps. Using a promo code (SPRING2010), ThumbCal will cost you about $13. I believe you can update for free if you purchased the previous version.
