Have you ever noticed how generic the keypad of numbers are on the Windows Mobile unlock screen?

Well ThrottleLock, now upgraded to version 0.5 beta, may spice up your little device. It is an Android clone utility that allows users to automatically lock their device. The program requires the operator to set up a specific pattern from a series of small dots to unlock the device. The selection of dots varies from a 2×2 to 5×5 square to a rectangle of various dimensions. There are a few settings that can be implemented such as: lock automatically, lock on startup, lock on call, and exit on hibernate.

Anton D. Nagy’s review of ThrottleLock version 0.1 has been upgraded to allow you to install different skins to customize your device even further, from Super Mario Brothers to Windows Vista based themes. The program is free and will run on all Windows Mobile 5/6/6.1 devices. Spotted on 1800PocketPC.
