Microsites are super cool often flash-based information portals that are used to showcase new products. We recently told you about one for the Toshiba TG01, and now there is one for the new Omnia II.
Complete with trippy music, the microsite lets you actually interact with the device through a web-based emulator…you can drag and drop widgets, open the program launcher, and launch and view literally any program. It’s quite remarkable. It allows us to see that the TouchWiz 2.0 interface goes very deep…everything from the notes application to the calendar is skinned. We’ll be getting an Omnia II in the pocketnow.com labs just as soon as possible, so lots of coverage coming soon!
Check out the emulator! And, if you heart the Omnia II, check out the full specs on PDAdb.net.
(Thanks for the tip, CJ)
