PocketSpeedTest comes from XDA Developers and it is a small utility to measure your device’s internet connection speed.

The application should run on almost any platform (just download the file and run it), let it be Smartphone or PocketPC (even on a Desktop PC) and it measures Internet access speeds, regardless if you use a Data Connection, WiFi or Activesync/WMDC Internet share. PocketSpeedTest downloads a 1MB file to your device and calculates the speed of the download based on results for that file.

NOTE: Because the application generates data traffic, be aware of additional costs when using Data Connection.
