Logic Unlimited’s Call Firewall is a highly configurable filter/firewall that you can configure to your liking, in order to allow calls through both ways, incoming and outgoing.
Configuration is very simple, you can set the application to accept all calls, reject all calls, accept calls only for your Contacts, accept calls only from a Whitelist, and accept all calls except those in the Blacklist. In addition, you can enable call barring and SMS filter. You need to take care when configuring the Whitelist and/or call barring, since the application will filter numbers the way you’ve added them, in perfect match. When it comes to Blacklist, the application is more flexible, allowing you to blacklist specific number(s) or use wildcards, based on a pattern (i.e.: if you enter 123, all calls containing that pattern will be blocked; this one is pretty useful for blocking a specific provider, area code, etc.).
Call Firewall can also reply with a predefined SMS to a rejected incoming call (with or without asking for permission). There is also an option to add calls as appointments which can be useful when tracking call history over time.
Download and install Call Firewall to your device and when you first start it, it will notify you with an error message sort of notifying you of a first run. Configure it to your liking and remember to select Save & Minimize from the Menu. Call Firewall needs to run in the background in order to filter your calls, but if the entry in Task Manager bothers you, just select the option at the bottom to hide from running programs.
