Sprint had just announced via Twitter that its version of the HTC Hero and Samsung Moment will be receiving an update to bring the devices to Android 2.0, which first debuted on the Motorola Droid. Android 2.0 will bring native Exchange support, Google Maps with Navigation, and a number of other improvements. The Moment and the Hero have thus far relied on third-party or OEM add-ins to enable Exchange ActiveSync.
According to the tweet: “Happy to announce Android 2.0 is coming to Sprint’s Hero & Moment. Date TBD, but roughly 1H 2010.”
