Ever want to skip talking to someone and just leave them a voicemail? There’s a free app that will do that for Windows Mobile called slydial. The app lets you search through your contacts to find the person you want to dial. Then, the service will call that number and will magically skip past the ringing and bring you right to the person’s voicemail.

In our tests, slydial worked pretty well but only for mobile phones. And, on devices, slydial would cause the phone to do a “half ring” before going to voicemail. Still, a pretty good tool for times when you just want to leave someone a message.
