SkyFire Finally Makes Non Beta Version 1.0

Remember when cell phones could only make phone calls? Well quite a bit has change over a couple decades and mobile internet is probably the best feature on mobile devices these days.

Although SkyFire has only been around for a short while it has certainly changed the way Flash enriched websites are viewed on a Windows Mobile device. Today SkyFire has been upgraded to version 1.0 which now has a much more intuitive tap-and-zoom feature that eliminates the “zoom square” from the previous builds. The server based browser will now support Microsoft Silverlight media enabled pages as well. SkyFire will still default to the UK webpage of various sites; hopefully in the future there is a US based server to help eliminate this issue.

The program is free and will run on virtually all Windows Mobile 5 and greater devices. SkyFire may be downloaded directly from your Windows Mobile device for free by navigating to Get.Skyfire.com in either Pocket Internet Explorer or Opera 9.5.
