Samsung Omnia II Midomi and Video Editor

In this video we cover two sweet programs included on the Omnia 2 and not shown on the previous videos: Midomi and the video editor.

Midomi lets you find the name of a song by singing or humming the tune. It works remarkably well. There’s actually an iPhone version of the application, or you can use the web interface and record using a microphone on your desktop or laptop.

Then, the video editor goes above and beyond what you’d expect for a mobile phone. You can create a storyboard that integrates several video clips, plus add text, voice notes, and more. Also, there’s a feature to assemble a slideshow of pictures with a custom background and sound. Pretty cool stuff.

In case you missed it, we’ve published the full review of the Samsung Omnia II. Check it out!
