Mattel, the world’s largest toy company, has partnered with chipmaker Qualcomm to use its new augmented reality (AR) software development kit (SDK), to do some really cool things.

At the recent Uplinq keynote, Qualcomm’s Dr. Paul Jacobs and Mattel’s Peter Marx demonstrated what could become a new line of games featuring “iconic Mattel brands”, such as Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots. It’s only fitting that “Robots” would be the first game displayed on Android.
