Many people know about the popular internet radio site Pandora which is mostly targeted toward users in the United States. Now US and international radio junkies will be happy to hear that the free Pocket Scrobbler has been updated to include album art and track information.
The program acquires live streams from Last.fm, an internet radio company that has had support for the iPhone and Symbian for some time now. The program is created by a third party company and will run on any Windows Mobile 5/6/6.1 devices. Users must set up an online account which gives them access to millions of songs and playlists. Just log on to personalize your favorite artists, genres, or songs and Pocket Scrobbler will sync with your device over a data connection to bring you high quality audio right to the palm of your hand. Every time you select a song that you like or dislike your playlist will learn to recognize what kind of music you would like most, pretty much making you the disk jockey. Unlike many internet radio companies this program doesn’t require Windows Media Player to stream the songs. Spotted on FreewarePocketPC.
