PhoneType Brings Free T9 Keyboard To Windows Phone

Many generic mobile devices use the number pad as its primary input method for text messages, web addresses, and notes. Some users even become familiar with T9 texting which automatically creates words from a sequence of numeric button presses. If you happen to be one of these speedy users that have recently converted over to a Windows Phone you may have realized that numerous phones don’t have this familiar T9 text input.

PhoneType now brings the recognizable T9 to all touchscreen Windows Phones. The program is very quick to respond and even learns new words, such as places and names, simple by adding them to the onboard dictionary for quick recall. The program has a large array of symbols which are rapidly available by the tap of a button. This application even allows for standard muliple-tap-input to type with as well. Spotted on FreewarePPC.
