With all of the hub-bub going on around the Internet regarding memory and the Treo 700w (more on that in another blog…), a number of people have been concerned about the Treo’s abiltity to run ANY third party application at all. The concern is that the device will either freeze or become completely unstable.
I have good news for those of you who are Pocket Informant fans out there. I’ve been running the latest, greatest version of Pocket Informant 2005 on the 700w, and it runs just fine. The only problem I’ve bumped into is the 240×240 screen resolution when viewing details in Month View. The screen gets a tad squooshed; but Alex did the best he could with the real estate he had.
The app runs just fine, kids. If you’ve been holding off trying to run it for fear of needing to do a hard reset, don’t worry. PI is just fine on the Treo 700w!
